NH7 Weekender 2012


Following up from NH7 Weekender identity design and campaign in 2011,
we devised a new illustrative branding design for 2012. Using the shape of a
plectrum as a visual device we developed a large set of icons. The illustrative
and typographic icons were designed to give the Weekender a distinct identity
for 2012. The icons derived inspiration from the ‘Weekender vibe’, people,
moments, well-known lyrics, urban/pop culture, Pune-Bengaluru-Delhi quirks and
of course the bands and brands involved. Icons were designed keeping in mind
usage for branding, posters, hoardings, on-location environment design
and merchandise.
